DESKTOP SUPPORT/HARDWARE TECHNICIAN

DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA

POSITION:

ICS is working with a client to bring on an IT Desktop Support/Hardware Technician who will be a central point of contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests! You will be responsible for supporting end users, desktops, phone, email, and remote support for all sites.

The ideal candidate will be someone who takes initiative, has great communication, and can be a team player.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Providing support for end-users with desktop, phone, printer, email, mobile devices and remote support

Maintain inventory of supplies and spare parts, OEM licensing management. Research and recommend new and replacement equipment as needed

Perform workstation installations patching and upgrades as needed

Install, maintain, and monitor software applications utilization

Interface with vendors for support services in telephone, computers, and network systems

Analyze and recommend company processes and procedures in search of ways to integrate and innovate technologies to ensure compliance with both internal procedures and external regulatory requirements

Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies

Assisting with Infrastructure Projects and Project Management

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

3+ years’ equivalent experience

Experience with Desktop OS’S consisting of Windows 10, 7

Experience managing Active Directory

Experience with network protocols & switching

Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Office 365
