SENIOR DATABASE ENGINEER CONSULTANT
NASHVILLE, TN
POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Senior Database Engineer, who is an expert in a SQL environment, to join our client's team in Nashville, TN!
The Database Engineering Consultant should be well versed in SQL, SSRS, SSIS and overall data migration processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and implement MS SQL Server SSIS ETL jobs to effectively process high-volume data sources and meet nightly processing windows.
Support clients' systems and requirements
Conduct analysis and design of data models for the development and maintenance of existing Enterprise systems.
Monitors industry trends and directions and develops and presents substantive technical recommendations to senior management.
Work with users to define, implement and automate data warehouse requirements based on Microsoft SQL BI Stack
Build data structures, functions and views for source data integration, data management, and consumption by other systems
Ability to communicate data modeling and process flow concepts, while tailoring solutions to business requirements
Ability to interpret business logic and develop appropriate data-flows and data dependencies
Understand and design system integration as required for extracting data for reporting purposes
Ability to work with and communicate with a team of Developers/Analysts and non-technical Business Stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of Database Engineering experience
Hands on experience with the following technologies:
SSRS
SSIS
SQL
Experience with principles of data migrations and integrations
Ability to prepare technical documentation
Knowledge of Architecture, Infrastructure and Performance Tuning
Experience with writing stored procedures & setting up replication and log shipping
Experience with CRM system support preferred
