We are looking for an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to join our DevSecOps Team in Littleton, CO.
The Systems Engineer works closely with our development and infrastructure engineering teams supporting our on-premise as well as cloud infrastructure initiatives.
We have a mindset for constant, iterative improvement and work towards security, stability, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate would be capable of managing the day-to-day operations of our hosted applications on Windows environments. Where possible, we appreciate automation and scripting over repetition.
Experience with automation, recovery, and monitoring are essential.
Experience working with SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online / O365 are highly desired. Looking for motivated critical thinkers, and detail oriented self-starters to join the team!
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Take functional ownership and become the subject matter expert of the current hosted SharePoint 2013 and current migration to SharePoint Online environments, helping employees translate their needs into SharePoint functionality, including site templates, content types, workflows, dashboards, etc.
Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives (Upgraded versions, integration with additional enterprise systems)
Perform typical system administration activities such as site creation, backup, restore and issue resolution
Develop, configure, document, and maintain secure and reliable system standards and procedures
Conduct user training sessions and support to enable self-sufficiency while using the SharePoint and
Office 365 tools and their integration with other software solutions
General administration and operations of our Office 365 environment as migration moves to production.
Experience and Skills:
Required Skills and Experience
Daily support of Windows enterprise infrastructure such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, etc.
Maintain and administer Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 Servers, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis
Install and configure SharePoint software and related components at the server level, including SQL Server, web server and application server
Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems, taking appropriate corrective action and/or interacting with IT staff or customers to perform dynamic testing, support, and troubleshooting functions
Perform infrastructure environment builds, user training, installation, maintenance, and support with emphasis on documentation of operating procedures and processes
Provide light on-call support and weekend maintenance duties as required
Monitor server performance/capacity, forecast system demands, recommend upgrades, expansions, and reconfigurations
Experience working as a SharePoint administrator supporting enterprise-wide SharePoint deployments
Preferred Skills and Experience
Hardware experience with Dell R610 and forward platforms, EqualLogic, Datrium, and Simplivity storage
Experience working with Powershell, Python, or any other scripting language.
Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Industry certifications are a plus, but not required
Applied systems experience in an enterprise, service provider, or research environment
