UX INFORMATION ARCHITECT

6+ MONTH CONTRACT; OPPORTUNITY TO EXTEND OR CONVERT

IRVING, TX

THE POSITION:

ICS is looking for a UX Information Architect to join our client’s Global Web Marketing team to support and contribute to visual and interactive design to draw in new business and develop affinity with current customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Create prototypes and wireframes

Determine information architecture and create sitemaps

Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis

Interpret data and qualitative feedback.

Define the categorization, organization and navigational conventions used throughout the experience

Develop site maps, user workflows, scenarios, and task analysis

Conduct heuristic reviews, competitive analyses, and content audits

Make product metadata recommendations

Help guide usability testing, and/or use internal resources for quick test assessments

Create user stories, personas, and storyboards

Design responsive experiences for mobile and desktop that support multiple languages

Work with a variety of cross-functional teams to create an experience that supports go to market
strategies, showcasing content with the ability to simplify large amounts of content for scan ability

Consult and collaborate with team members and stakeholders on designs, and requirements working in tandem with team members focused art direction, persuasion and conversion

Present and defend your design decisions that are based on the overall design roadmap, persona, and fundamental principles aspects of branding, design, usability and function.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Graphic Design or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience with B2B web experience—defining, repairing, modifying web IA, interaction and flow

Analytical with the ability to cross marketing and business lines to simplify and optimize web content experiences

Able to see the big picture and create and/or modify the building blocks to support the overarching goals of the site

Strong skills in untangling and simplifying IA and the ability to align usability and business goals

Knowledge of / experience in marketing, cognitive science, psychology, economics or information science, with a solid understanding of user experience design

Ability to clearly communicate complicated designs visually and simply

Experience with PhotoShop, InVision, Illustrator, XD, Adobe Experience Manager a plus
