Senior SharePoint Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior SharePoint Administrator to help lead the planning on a migration of sites from three disparate on-premise SharePoint environments to Microsoft Office 365 GCC-High (Gov Cloud).

Strong technical and interpersonal skills and are required for collaboration with end users, analysts, product managers, project managers, and program managers to deliver quality and timely migration.

The overall business objectives require delivery leadership, applying best practices for planning and implementation support to ensure a well-executed deployment and successful end user adoption.

Job Duties:

- Define, test and document on-premise SP to O365 Gov Cloud migration process in runbook form

- Define, test and document the O365 Gov Cloud Internal and External Sharing capabilities and configuration.

- Lead AIP Unified Labeling SPO implementation

- Ensure O365 Gov Cloud templates are aligned with internal corporate policy

- Work with Delivery Project Manager, facilitate information gathering and formation of project and resource plans

- Create 'as built' documentation for SPO O365 Gov Cloud, including internal and external sharing

- Act as O365 Gov Cloud SPO SME

- Contribute to documentation and training materials required for O365 Gov Cloud Service Transition to the Service Desk and Desk Side Support teams.

- Support Service Transition training as required.

- Engage with client end-user community as needed to facilitate SP site migrations

- Understand and analyze project issues against objectives and scope, develop recommendations and coordinate and communicate tradeoffs and options which support customer and business objectives.


- Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience

- Experience with corporate integrations

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Implementations

- Knowledge of Microsoft O365 Commercial Tenant

- Experience with Microsoft Office applications

- Experience using ShareGate to migrate SP sites

- Experience in Agile or SAFe environments

- Experience with new product introductions into corporate environments

- US Citizen and must pass extensive background check


- Microsoft Certifications: Teamwork Administrator Associate and/or Enterprise Administrator Expert

- Knowledge of Microsoft GCC-High (Government Computing Cloud) Tenant

- Experience with Atlassian/Jira Align

- Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational agility skills

- Demonstrable presentation and written communication skills
