SENIOR WINDOWS ENGINEER
6-9 MONTH CONTRACT; OPPORTUNITY TO EXTEND

THE POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Senior Windows Engineer to support several Infrastructure & Security projects for our B2B Software client in Downtown Dallas! This position shares responsibility for the security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farm.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an enterprise, fast-paced environment and enjoy wearing multiple hats!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design, install, administer, and optimize Microsoft Windows servers and related components to achieve and maintain high performance of business applications.
Ensuring the availability of client/server applications
Configuring new implementations
Developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.
The scope of responsibilities includes server hardware, Windows Server operating systems, core
Microsoft back-office technologies, and 3rd party infrastructure software and applications.
Responsible for managing Microsoft AD infrastructure, configuration and operation to include single sign-on interaction is required to be successful.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
8+ years' experience in Windows system administration and engineering
Proven experience in highly complex environments
Expert experience with System Center Configuration Manager
Experience with the following technologies:
Windows Server
Active Directory
WSUS, DNS and DHCP, SSO
IIS, MSSQL 2005/2008/2012/2016
Office 365 and Exchange Administration
System Center Configuration Manager
F5 Load Balancers
Automation/Scripting (Powershell)
Patching, change control, documentation creation & maintenance
