Job Description

FINANCIAL ANALYST

A global manufacturing organization is actively seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their growing IT team.

The Financial Analyst should have a strong financial acumen and is capable of organizing and resolving complicated cost/finance, procurement, and implementation issues to drive to service delivery and quantitative insight for IT.

You will be responsible for turning data into insights by applying analytics frameworks and garnering a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and desired outcomes.

These insights will empower the rapid, impactful, and deeply informed decision-making that enables the change required for the IT organization to expand.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are required as you will partner with internal business users and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

Manage the financial responsibilities of a global IT product line keeping track of orders and managing the financial data, monitors milestones and services.

Provide insights on spend, actuals, how much money is left on each project, etc.

Must be customer friendly working with internal business units and vendors.

Become the "left hand person” for executive leadership, enabling informed decisions

Operate in an agile capability team where quality and security are built into daily work.

Attack roadblocks and impediments to delivering incremental value.

Drive out technical debt by avoiding the way we've done things in the past.

Be a Process Optimization zealot, making efficient processes to enable faster system throughput

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

2+ years as a Financial Analyst

Strong financial acumen and modeling ability

Advanced skills in the visual display of quantitative information

The ability to unearth all germane data inputs for decision making

Strong listening, pragmatic feedback, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Very strong Excel skills

Previous working experience in an enterprise level environment is desired.

Previous experience handling IT-related expenses is highly desired, but not required.

Experience working with large SaaS platforms such as Workday, SAP, MS Dynamics, Salesforce is a plus

Customer-facing Service Provider environment experience a huge plus

Professional experience working within SaaS, IIOT, and/or Manufacturing environments desired, but not required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
