Job Description

FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER

A global financial institution is actively seeking experienced a Full Stack Java Developer to join their local team.

As a Full Stack Java Developer you will be part of the Blockchain Engineering team where you will create products and services that interface with public, private and permissioned blockchains.

You will develop applications that build upon proprietary wallet infrastructure, create services that read from and write to blockchains, and implement systems that secure and safeguard digital assets.

You will work closely with our Security Engineering team to develop products that incorporate advanced private key management and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with dynamic team members to design and implement software solutions that support the creation, transfer, and storage of digital assets

Develop and implement software modules which integrate with various internal and external wallet system

Perform code reviews and provide meaningful feedback

Diagnose and resolve system issues in production and external customer facing environments

Requirements

Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar

5+ years experience in Java/J2EE

2+ years' experience in Spring Core, Spring Tx, Spring Boot, Spring Data

ReactJS or NodeJS experience

Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, Liquibase, Dozer or similar

Excellent working experience in Java Build Tools: Gradle/Maven

Strong working knowledge in OOP, Design Patterns & TDD

At least two years' experience in SQL, TSQL & Oracle or MySQL

Background working in within payments or Fintech is desired but not required

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required
