The candidate is responsible for working with our technology and R&D teams to ensure projects are scoped properly and running on-time. They will need to assist in making product decisions and coordinate communication between various departments. Responsibilities and Duties: Lead various technology/R&D schedules/scopes Hold/administer status meetings/scrums Deliver projects on-time Work with customers to develop specifications for apps and analytics Oversee development of all supporting documentation for the organization's platform and apps; ensure team is properly trained Train operations ream on all new deployments Coordinate between local and remote teams to ensure all team members understand their roles and are working toward the same project objectives Communicate with team on project progress and gathering input/support in a timely manner Communicate with customers to resolve issues as needed Support testing in conjunction with development of staged systems prior to deployment Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies Other duties as required Qualifications and Skills: Required: Extensive knowledge of good software processes/practices Minimum of three (3) years in software management Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Leadership skills and ability to work well with teams effectively (local and remote) Four-year engineering degree Analytical thinking skills Ability to identify anomalies and problem data Ability to train and coach others Recommended, but not required: Experience with oil & gas Experience with SQL queries
