Windows 10 Migration Specialist
The Windows 7 Migration Specialist will assist with application readiness, deployment of Windows 10 and Office 2010 and image development and maintenance.
Participate in migration project from Windows 7 to Windows 10
Maintain and support corporate standard Operating System build process
Surveying current PC and applications for Windows 10 compatibility issues as well as gather any unique
hardware, application, and software requirements.
Coordinate, build, customize, prepare new pc and decommission old pc for the users.
Install or troubleshoot any software or hardware as required by user.
REQUIREMENTS
3 years IT experience deploying and providing support for Windows 7, Office 2010 and various other pc desktop hardware/software.
Experience using Symantec Ghost for imaging and deployment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server 2003/2008.
Problem solving skills and ability to identify and implement appropriate solutions.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently to meet deadlines.
Outstanding attention to detail and strong organization skills.
Work on weekends and beyond normal business hours when required.
