Job Description

As a CMDB Project Manager:

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans.

Serve as Project Manager via management of end-to-end system development life cycle of both major and minor projects while supervising intermediate to senior level staff.

Provide project leadership and direction to project resources in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Develop full-scale project plans and project documentation.

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support client contracts.

Effectively communicate project expectations to project resources and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.

Provide leadership, guidance and resolution in responding to project related issues.

Acts as an effective liaison between client project stakeholders and company, able to align company's various resources and capabilities to client project needs.

Define project requirements, including leading and eliciting requirements gathering sessions.

Develop costing proposals for new and existing projects, perform risk analysis, and manage change control.

Provide or contribute to business analysis, and user needs analysis for projects.

Build, develop, and grow any business relationship vital to the success of the project

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Professional Qualifications:

Education:

4-year degree (or work experience equivalent)

Certifications:

Certification in Project Management (PMP)

Special completion of at least one relevant certification exam or demonstrated proficiency in at least one relevant technical competency.

Work Experience:

Advanced Configuration Database Management (CMDB) experience.

3-5 years of experience with the Project Management Life Cycle and the Software
Development Life Cycle.

Minimum 7+ years of direct project management experience which included leading teams of both technical and business resources.

Experience leading mid to large scale projects.

Experience leading large, complex custom software and infrastructure projects utilizing products from both Microsoft and AWS.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Competent and proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products Must be
able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity.

Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other practices.

Knows and applies broader fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a field of specialization.

Handles difficult assignments effectively and consistently.

Frequently engages others to assist them with technical needs.
