Business Intelligence Developer

Job Functions:

- Employ excellent communication skills to conduct requirements discussions with business leaders, thriving to understand needs and ensure efficient and effective development solutions.

- Utilize load, analytics, data marts and data visualization to design and implement solutions relating to the entire scope of the data warehouse environment.

- Analyze potential data quality and engineering issues, creating effective data pipelines and ETL/ELT; assess data integrity and identify gaps in data to accurately meet reporting analytics needs.

- Manage ongoing development to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of requirements to stakeholders.

- Develop and deliver project documentation as required.

- Identify opportunities for automation of existing reports.

- Ongoing maintenance and support which includes on-call rotation to ensure operational stability.

- Self-driven and be able to work autonomously and with a diverse group of team members, delivering high-quality projects on time in a fun but dynamic/fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

- BS in Computer Science, Info Tech or other related technical disciplines. Equivalent education, technical training, and work experience accepted

- 7+ years data warehouse and ETL development (any RDBMS, OracleSQL preferred)

- 3+ years data warehouse development within Oracle; solid SQL and PL/SQL experience (including performance tuning)

- 3+ years data warehouse modeling using Star schema methodology (data vault methodology a plus)

- Broad and deep skills within Oracle data warehouse functionality - streams, materialized views, external tables, partitioning, table functions, fact table structures, bitmap indexing, etc.

- Preferred: experience with MS Power BI, SSAS, SSRS
