Job Description

We are searching for a Senior Fund Accountant for a multi-billion dollar fund located West Palm Beach.

Responsibilities:

Review the administrator and shadow administrator’s monthly estimated and final NAV package

Assist in the monthly or quarterly issuance of capital statements to investors

Manage investor capital activity processes

Implement tight review processes of all accounting information that is sent to investors and external parties

Assist in overseeing middle office functions within the funds (there is some internal derivative trading)

Model "what if scenarios with respect to partner allocation and return streams for multiple products

Manage external relationships with administrators, audit and legal service providers

Research technical accounting issues with team, as needed

Coordinate and manage the annual audit process around multiple master-feeder entities

Build and implement controls and processes with other finance team members to ensure consistency among products

Enhance financial internal and external reporting systems and internal control environment for multiple products

Liaise with our service providers to answer investor questions

Work with financial operations team to ensure the processes with respect to tax filings, withholdings and reporting are consistent among all products and all financial operations teams

Liaise with the investor relations team to ensure tax related documents to investors (K-1s, tax estimates, state composite forms and other related tax documents) are handled appropriately.

Other tax duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA preferred

4-8 years of Applicable Fund Experience

Experience working with fund administrators

Ability to demonstrate success in an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment

High attention to quality and detail

Sense of urgency and a high regard for personal integrity, responsibility and accountability

Proven interpersonal relationship skills with all levels of management and staff

Excellent leadership and communication skills (oral and written)

MS Office skills.
