.Net Application Developer

Reston VA

We are seeking a .NET developer/data migration specialist that will be responsible for building .NET applications as well as performing critical data migration from a legacy system.

The candidate must possess technical expertise in the creation and maintenance of database structures, complex queries, stored procedures and functions.

Experience in data migration/conversion methodology, data profiling, data quality assessment, data quality rule development, data gap analysis and mapping is essential.
Knowledge of data warehousing and data analytics would be highly beneficial.

Other responsibilities, as a .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using the latest technologies stack of ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML5, JQuery, Entity Framework, Web API, SQL Server and others.

You will develop and implement multiple layers of the applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement as per the design and architecture

Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages

Test and deploy applications and systems

Revise, update, refactor and debug code

Improve existing software

Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Information systems or related field

3+ years of directly relevant experience in developing .NET applications

6+ years of experience in a data migration role with MS SQL Server is required

Develop data queries for analyzing source data

Data extraction, transformation and load scripting

Proven experience as a .NET Developer using ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML5, Jquery, Entity
Framework, SQL Server

Familiarity and good knowledge in Bootstrap, CSS, knockout, Vue.Js, LINQ, Web API and other design/architectural patterns

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
