.NET DEVELOPER

A national and growing financial firm is actively seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish an internal web development team.

The ideal .NET Developer should have experience with brand new development as well as enhancing and manage and deploy changes to existing web applications.

In this role you will have the ability to be exposed new technologies and get the chance to cross into other company projects.

Responsibilities:

Works with the development team to create custom web application solutions from the ground up to support business needs.

Interacts with others in formulating the design and scope of new internal applications and software maintenance projects.

Participates in many aspects of the product life cycle including solution design, implementation, and testing.

Participates in discussions and makes recommendations on architecture and overall direction of company platforms.

Ensures quality code delivery from team members and vendors, including code review, verification against best practice, and quality testing. Opens bug tickets and retests fixes.

Adheres to change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements and deployments.

Qualifications:

3+ years of the following experience with .Net development using C# and back-end coding skills using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, MS-SQL/T-SQL;

Previous experience with web applications development and managing professional web site, including server management, component development, and data integration;

Windows servers and SQL servers 2008+.

Solid front-end development skills and experience, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC framework, Bootstrap framework, debugging, and troubleshooting is a plus

Working experience with MSSQL including design and developing databases.

Experience working with web services and related technologies (JSON, REST, SOAP, XML).

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS).

Good understanding of OOP and N-Tier architecture.

Experience with Agile development methodology and SDLC methodology.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or related areas of study
